  • - Department provides a medical service in the field of neuroscience to a broad section of governorates of the Delta in particular

    (Dakahlia - El sharkia- El gharbia - Damietta - Port Said - Kafr el-Sheikh) and all the governorates in general ,and considered one of the largest and oldest neurology depatments at the level of the countery since its inception to the year 1966.


  • - The Department of Neurology one of the largest and oldest depatments in Mansoura University Hospitals its capacity of inpatient 43-beds( section A) in addition to 39 beds

    ( section B)a, stroke unit in emergency hospital 8 beds ( intensive care unit ) .
  • - The bed occupancy rates exceed the rate of 600% ,which considered highest proportion of at the university hospital,
    according to a review of the number of admissions from the outpatient

    clinic of the department and cases transferred from the emergency hospital for a year ago.
